"There's No Tank Tuffa Than a Tuffa Tank"

TUFFA tanks are designed in such a way that with the top removed the tank bodies can be nested one inside the other in stacks of up to four (4). These stacks are packed on a special wooden pallet and the lids are packed into the tanks. This method of shipment means that freight costs are minimised and tanks arrive at the destination in good condition.

The top is easily installed. A moulded in mark ensures the top is always correctly repositioned. The top then simply clips over the top rim of the body and forms a strong secure fit. The screws supplied with the tank kit are then screwed into the pre-drilled holes. All tanks can be supplied with the top removed for ease of transportation or as a one piece tank.

TUFFA tanks are designed so that the two piece tanks can be easily and quickly assembled WITHOUT THE NEED TO USE GASKETS OR FIBREGLASS RESIN TO CREATE A LEAK-PROOF JOINT between the two sections.

TUFFA Tanks are supplied with two outlets and one overflow. A plug is supplied to plug one of the outlets if it is not required. The 1 1/2" threaded outlets are 1800 opposite each other. The position of the inlet; overflow and outlets are such that they should suit any installation.

An overflow pipe with mosquito screen is supplied and this simply screws into the screwed socket in the tank. A manhole/access hole in the top of the tank and a screen insert with mosquito mesh is supplied. Other outlets can be provided at extra cost as required.

In most countries today metal tanks have disappeared. Fibreglass tanks are also being rapidly displaced by rotationally moulded tanks - Why? The reasons is plastic tanks are:

 They look good and they are stronger! They look strong and they are stronger! They look tougher and they are TUFFA!
